Specifies the number of minutes a truck visit remains active. If a truck returns to the terminal for another truck visit within the number of minutes specified in ROADGATE004, N4 saves the new visits for the truck under the same active truck visit.
In addition, if a truck driver, after moving to the yard stage, returns to the ingate for additional gate transactions, within the number of minutes set for ROADGATE004, you can enter the truck license number on the <GateStage> tab (on page 1) to resurrect the truck visit.
If the Auto Close Truck Visit background job is running and number of minutes specified in ROADGATE004 for a truck visit has expired, N4 automatically updates the truck visit state in the Truck Visits view (on page 1) and gate transaction status in the Gate Transactions view (on page 1).
If you post the cancel-truck-visit API message with the attribute skip-tv-setting-validation set to true. N4 overrides the ROADGATE004 setting and cancels the truck visit.
Notes
To extend the time a truck is allowed at an individual gate stage, you can use the Extra Time (mins) and Time Allowed (mins) fields in the Gate Stage form (on page 1).
If a truck visit or gate transaction is already in a COMPLETE, CANCEL, or CLOSED state, N4 ignores it.
